The UPNG provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and values a graduate will require to become a useful member of society, and to advance the human values in the modern world. An education at the UPNG is a life-long investment.Research was initially a section of the Department of Planning and Development and later transferred to the Centre for Research and Post-Graduate Studies, when the later was created in 2002 as a part of the University's restructure. Post-Graduate programmes of the Centre were entrusted to respective schools and the Research wing was formed as the Office of Research when the Centre for Research and Post-Graduate studies was abolished in 2007.

Learn more about the Global Student Satisfaction Awardsits quite OK but we don't have many computer lab and science lab as well and Im at university of Goroka its with in Papua New Guinea as well.
It was not the best experience for a post-grad research student because mainly support through facility use and supervisor direction was not given when necessary thus, prolonging the duration of study
