Vanuatu Institute of Technology is the center of excellence for public technical, vocational, business, hospitality, and continuing education in Vanuatu; contributing to the economic and social development of all its islands and citizens. The campus offers a variety of courses and regular training take place in the different islands of Vanuatu.

History

VIT has rich roots reaching back to over 50 years.Initially established by the French Government in 1970, before independence, VIT was then known as the College d’Enseignement Technique. The institution was renamed Institut National de Technologie de Vanuatu (INTV) after independence as a key part of the French language education system, and began offering dual language programs in 1980.

A great experience studying at VIT

Studying at the Vanuatu Institute of Technology (VIT) has been a great experience for me. I’ve learned many new skills, especially in business and administration, that will help me in the future. The teachers are very supportive, friendly, and always willing to help. I’ve also met many good friends from different islands, and we share ideas and work together as a team. VIT has really helped me grow in knowledge, confidence, and discipline. I’m proud to be part of VIT and thankful for the opportunity to study at VIT.
