The UA traces its roots back to 1988, when the start of the Faculty of Law (FdR) marked the beginning of the UA’s academic growth. In 1993, the Faculty for Accounting, Finance and Marketing (FEF) started which is now the largest faculty of the UA, followed by the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management Studies (FHTMS) in 2005.

The university has a high academic standard, not only due to the professionalism of the professors but also to the quality of academic programs and students. Great example of public and quality education, should be an example not only in LATAM but in the world. The thesis preparation and presentation process can be a little overcomplicated for students.
I'm currently studying medicine in the University of Buenos Aires, it's a strict place but I think it's worth it. Proffesors are dynamic and fun, classes are kind of short but you have everything explained. It's public (free) and everyone can study in it, even people from other countries. People can also come listen to the class even if they're not a student.
It's one of the best universities in Latin America for a reason. It encourages critical thinking and gives their students the necessary tools to thrive in a work environment. The teachers are among the best; they teach with passion.
