HEBUST is one of the first batch of key multi-disciplinary backbone universities in Hebei Province, a university jointly built by the People’s Government of Hebei Province and State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defence, PRC. A national first-class university construction supported by Hebei Province, and a university under the "Outstanding Engineer Education and Training Program" of the Ministry of Education.
