About
History
In 1940, Sejong University created a place of learning dedicated to excellence in education and research. Accreditation
Gratefully, Sejong University was early to spot these changes and has proactively responded to them. This led to many valuable accomplishments: the university was named a Resource Development Specialization University; its business school was re-awarded the international AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) certification; the Graphene Research Institute was named a Priority Research Center by the National Research Foundation of Korea; the university was awarded a Brain Korea 21 project; and the Department of National Defense System was newly created.
