CIMBA (in English, pronounced chim – buh) offers dynamic, personal, and affordable study abroad, MBA, and executive programs in Paderno del Grappa at the base of the Italian Alps in Northern Italy—just an hour north of Venice.
Nearly 25 years ago, CIMBA President and Founder Al H. Ringleb had a vision for creating a unique international MBA program that would open new opportunities abroad for students and faculty.
The idea was to draw students from around the world to pursue their MBA, while giving faculty from top American colleges and universities an opportunity to gain international experience in business courses.
Education
CIMBA academic programs are designed to provide students with the foundation to thrive in a global business environment. Whether you are pursuing study abroad, an MBA, or our Executive Programs, you will go beyond theory and practice.
You’ll gain hands-on, real-world experiences from prominent guest speakers, knowledgeable faculty who have lived and worked around the world, and company tours of multinational corporations and small Italian businesses.
Our English-speaking professors come from more than 35 top universities throughout the U.S. and Europe. These professors tell us CIMBA’s small, personal teaching environment allows them to build lifelong connections with students.
Career
If you are a current student or alumni of the CIMBA Part-Time or Full-Time MBA program, you have access to a number of career services resources at the University of Iowa Tippie School of Management, which includes job search strategies, resume and cover letter templates, webinars, and more.

Campus life
Let’s be honest: it’s hard for CIMBA’s location to get any better. Our campus is in Paderno del Grappa in northern Italy at the base of the Italian Alps—just one hour north of Venice. Our students open their windows each morning to magnificent views of Mount Grappa and the Venetian countryside.
Eat dinner with a local family, get to know the shop owner across the street, enjoy a cappuccino at the campus cafe, volunteer in the community, walk through the vineyards surrounding campus, or take a bus to nearby Bassano del Grappa, a city with a rich history.
While you’re at CIMBA, you’ll live on a beautiful campus at the foot of the Italian Alps in the shadow of Mount Grappa.
