The faculty, which started to teach as Female Teacher Training School in 1957 in Denizli and then turned into Education Institute in 1976, was attached to Dokuz Eylül University Buca Faculty of Education under the name of Denizli Education College with Decree no. 41 on 20.07.1982.Pamukkale University, Arts and Sciences Faculty, Chemistry Department was founded in 1994.
Currently, there are 10 Professors, 4 Associate Professors, 4 Assistant Professors, 1 Research Assistant, 1 Laboratory Technician in our department. In addition, a research assistant, another university staff but assigned with 35th item, continues her doctoral studies in our department.The Department of Chemistry continues educational and scientific activities by continuously strengthening its dynamic teaching staff and with modern laboratory facilities, technical equipment and physical infrastructure.Department of Chemistry educates the qualified, modern and innovative scientists besides chemists needed by industry through graduate and undergraduate programmes, respectively.
