International School of Technology and Management (ISTM) at Feng Chia University

Set up in 2014, the mission of ISTM is to nurture professionals with international mobility. The school is dedicated to setting up dual-degree programs in collaboration with internationally-renowned universities. With all English-taught courses and additional language proficiency support in place, the first 2 years of study in ISTM allows students to adapt to studying at our partner institutions.

Students studying dual-degree bachelor programs will complete the first 2 years based in FCU studying common core courses and required / elective general courses set for their chosen program. In the 3rd and 4th year, students will study required / elective / university core courses required by applicable partner institution. On completing all requirements, students will be awarded 2 separate degrees.Partner institutions of ISTM are ranked highly in the chosen professional study areas. The academic collaborations are in highly-employable fields that are in keeping with global trend. Locations of our partner institutions are world-class in terms of living environment and friendliness towards overseas students.

FCU’s academic fields of engineering, material science and engineering, and computer science continue to be listed in the Essential Science Indicators top 1% in the world. The institution continues to pursue groundbreaking research carried out our interdisciplinary research teams to elevate its research and development capabilities. The university currently houses 37 specialized research centers onsite, including Green Energy Development Center and Geographic Information Systems Research Center. In addition to R&D activities, all research centers participate in industry-academia collaborative projects which provide valuable information for scholars and contribute positively to society.
