History
Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) has evolved from a number of Zurich institutions steeped in a long tradition: 2007 saw the amalgamation of two existing Zurich institutions, the Zurich University of Music and Theatre (HMT) and Zurich Canton University of Design and Art (HGKZ), to form Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK), with its five departments.
Education
The study and research programme covers the areas of art eduction, design, film, fine arts, music, dance, theatre and transdisciplinary studies. It is a state university with its own legal personality and is institutionally accredited.

A Passion for Botany and Future Growth
I recently completed my BS in Botany, where I gained strong theoretical knowledge and practical experience in plant sciences, ecology, genetics, plant physiology, and environmental studies. During my degree, I participated in laboratory work, field surveys, data collection, and research projects related to plant biodiversity and conservation. These activities helped me develop analytical, research, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. I also gained experience in preparing scientific reports and presentations. As a fresh graduate, I am eager to further enhance my knowledge and skills through higher education and research opportunities.

The compact counselor lit on around 70 sites all topics related to higher education - from the selection of the appropriate education and training on how to deal with learning and teaching situations and the planning of further personal and professional future.
Supervise qualified academic advisor and study counselors and advise on all FFHS-regional centers both prospective students as well as existing and former students.They assist students in choosing and planning their studies or career, provide guidance in entering into the study and assist in resolving difficulties during their studies.Accreditation
The Swiss Accreditation Council independently accredited the ZHdK as the first art university in Switzerland.
