History
December 1917 - Kyiv Church Teachers' School was transformed into Kyiv Ukrainian Teachers' Seminary (since 1918 it was named after Borys Grinchenko).

Library services
Our library was founded in 1939 as an integral part of a higher education institution. For many years it has been changed and filled up to meet the users’ needs. Today our funds amount to more than 260 thousand documents, including electronic resources and subscription databases of scientific publications. We have a separate fund for rare and valuable editions with more than 130 titles.

The educational program of the university is designed to develop all the necessary skills needed for a specialist(philologist). Students are provided with modern facilities and the latest teaching methods. Apart from attaining a high level of English, I managed to gain new competencies while studying, so I think the approach is effective and teachers are highly qualified.

The university is one of best in Ukraine. There are many different subjects and students life is intresting and creative. Also i have to mention the university`s support, workers always are happy to help.
