The living community on Zhuhai Campus is divided into Li Yuan and Rong Yuan. Each department is convenient for living. International students live in No. 16 Li Yuan.
The SYSU Library system consists of 4 campus libraries including the Main Library (in South Campus), the Medical Library( in North Campus), the East Campus Library, the Zhuhai Campus Library and 3 sub-libraries including the Economy and Management sub-library, the Biology library and the Chemistry library. There are 6965 seats for readers and 455 service terminals to searching.
The SYSU Library has a completely upgraded LAN. A united and automatic management system is applied in the 4 campus libraries and 3 sub-libraries. A conveniently distributed and digitalized information service network has been built, realising the co-development, co-acknowledgement and sharing of data resource and the unimpeded circulation of the library's materials.
There are campus clinics inside the campus, where primary health care is provided to the University staff and students, including clinical consultation, medication, first-aid and minor operative treatment. Full payment for medical treatment is required.
At present, Sun Yat-sen University covers a total area of 5.972 square kilometers and has 4 campuses: Guangzhou South Campus, Guangzhou North Campus, Guangzhou East Campus, and Zhuhai Campus.
Sports stadiums and gymnasiums are mainly used for P.E. courses during teaching hours and for public sports after class. You can go to the Office of Sports Venue Management at the Department of Physical Education (or Campus) in advance to apply for access to sports venues. Sports stadiums and gymnasiums are open to the public on weekends (charging fees)
