My Experience at Universidad Federico Santa María

Studying at Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María in Valparaíso was an enriching and formative experience. The Industrial Civil Engineering program provided a solid academic foundation, with a strong emphasis on analytical thinking, problem-solving, and real-world applications. One of the highlights of my time there was the opportunity to engage directly with knowledgeable and approachable professors, many of whom I still stay in touch with today. The faculty fostered a collaborative and respectful learning environment that made it easy to ask questions and explore complex concepts. Equally important was the strong sense of community among students. I developed excellent communication and teamwork skills by working closely with classmates on group projects and study sessions. These relationships not only enhanced my learning experience but also helped build a lasting professional network. Overall, the program greatly contributed to my growth as an engineer and as a professional. I’m proud to be a graduate of UTFSM.

A place in Chile for colaborative Science development

The programe I enroled does not have many students so the team work is encouraged by teachers and the environment itself, it was a major positive feature of the time I studied there. Also the ratio between students and teachers makes posible to work 1 on 1 about thesis projects or research on several areas of focus that the teachers do.
