The Engineering Institute of Technology has emerged from its founding organisation, IDC Technologies, which is an international provider of practical, technical training. Since its conception in 1991, five hundred thousand engineers, technicians and technologists have been trained globally.
All of our programs are offered live online, while our bachelor degrees and some of our master degrees are also presented on-campus in Australia.

Remote and on-campus students need support, encouragement and a go-to person. Our students are supported by dedicated Learning Support Officers (LSOs) for the duration of their studies, giving them a greater chance of success. If you choose to study a diploma or advanced diploma, one person is dedicated to you for the duration of your studies. Students studying our degrees will have a committed LSO for each unit of study.
Accommodation for international students is as varied as the requirements of the students themselves! Perth and Melbourne have many options available that would suit your study program. Your Western Australian educational institution will provide you with help in finding accommodation and understanding contracts such as leases and tenancy agreements. Student noticeboards and newspapers often advertise rooms, apartments and houses for rent.
All EIT students have access to the online EIT eLibrary containing over 160 technical manuals published by IDC Technologies covering a range of disciplines including mechanical, electrical, civil and chemical engineering as well as instrumentation, automation and process control and data communications and networking. On-campus students can also access and borrow books from the campus library.

EIT has two main campus buildings, one located in Perth, Western Australia and one in Melbourne, Victoria. Students can study our Bachelor of Science degrees and three of our Master of Engineering degrees at our Perth campus. Our Master of Engineering (Industrial Automation) is also available at our Melbourne campus.
EIT's Perth campus is located at Marquis Street, Bentley. This area is known as an academic, innovation, enterprise, and technology hub adyacent to the iconic Technology Park Bentley which is home to more than 100 organizations including technology based industry, research and development, academia and support organizations.
