City College Nottingham is a community led, training organisation targeting deprived areas and disadvantaged communities. The College aims to raise the aspiration and skills of individuals in order to improve their employment and career prospectus and support economic and social development.

Master's Programmes


Primary Aims
  • The primary aim of City College Nottingham is the provision of quality vocational training geared to provide individuals, nationally recognised skills, necessary for them to obtain employment.
  • In pursuing this aim, City College Nottingham operates under its own quality standards that are in line with those enforced by the awarding/accreditation bodies with which it works.
  • City College Nottingham recognises that its Staffing Team is key to the provision and maintenance of quality training, and is also committed to the achievement of the Investors in People national standard, in the training and development of its Employees.
Secondary Aims
  • City College Nottingham will operate as a professional Business supported by comprehensive systems of Quality, Health & Safety Administration Marketing and Industrial Liaison Systems.
  • City College Nottingham will offer training to all regardless of their Race, Religion, Colour Creed, Sexual Orientation, Disability or Political Persuasion.
  • City College Nottingham will provide special support in language, literacy & numeracy.
  • City College Nottingham will seek to expand its set of services through the development and introduction of new additional courses.
  • City College Nottingham will target its products and services particularly towards members of disadvantaged groups, especially people from the Asian and African - Caribbean community.
