History
The first government-sponsored international students arrived at Canning College in 1982, and four years later, privately-funded overseas students were enrolled for the first time. With the establishment in 1986 of a dedicated international office, which focused solely on the needs of its overseas students, Canning College was positioned as a pioneer and leader in international education.

Housing services
Where you stay during your studies plays a big role in creating a positive educational experience. This is even more true if you are living and studying away from home for the first time. Canning College makes sure you are comfortably and safely housed so you can focus on your studies.
Library services
The Canning College Library is a quiet, relaxed environment where you can study and relax. The Library includes areas for quiet independent study, group and tutorial work, and a reading lounge for relaxation.
Sports facilities
Students have access to a fully equipped Gymnasium with rowing machines, exercise bikes, weight machines and other equipment, as well as a Recreation Centre where several sporting activities take place, including badminton, volleyball, basketball, football and table tennis. This service may be restricted, depending on the number of onshore students.
