UCW was founded in 2004 by Dr. David Strong, an accomplished academic and distinguished scientist who served as President of the University of Victoria for more than a decade. The vision was to create an independent, accessible university with a practical focus and an emphasis on teaching excellence.
Education
UCW’s flexible program delivery allows you to study online or on-campus, so you can choose the option that works best for you. And with four intakes a year in January, April, July and October, you don’t have to wait and can start your degree when you’re ready. Courses are also offered on the weekends and in the evenings so you can set a schedule that works for you.
Career
Students who graduate from UCW are ready to take on the world and make their mark. 95% of UCW MBA students are working or have a job lined up within one year of graduating.

- UCW’s West Pender Campus is nestled in the heart of Vancouver, in the historic London Building. This urban campus is only steps away from public transit, including the Waterfront SkyTrain Station, major bus routes and the SeaBus terminal.
- UCW’s Vancouver House Campus is between the West End and Yaletown, just steps away from Sunset Beach, English Bay and Vancouver’s 28-kilometre Seawall.
