An Enriching International Experience at Northern
My semester at Northern Business School in Hamburg was a highly enriching experience. The courses, particularly in International Human Resource Management and International Accounting, were insightful and well-taught, providing a deep dive into global business practices. The faculty and staff were supportive, and the campus had a welcoming, international atmosphere. I truly valued this opportunity for growth and learning in such a dynamic environment.
Student services
We are the International Comitee at HSBA and are the first point of contact for all HSBA students as well as international students that have questions concerning studying abroad, that want to gather international experince or that are just curious about the international offers we have at our university.

The Library of Commerce also provides statistics, annual reports, corporate commemorative volumes and lists of members of German chambers of commerce abroad, as well as more than 350 regular newspapers and magazines. In total, the Library of Commerce has more than 200,000 media, including numerous electronic media and databases such as DBIS, EBSCO, Kompass, Statista and WISO.
Campus life
There's something about Hamburg. Maybe it's the maritime flair of the city in the North of Germany. Every day, lots of tourists mill through the area between the Alster and Elbe rivers. Germany's second-largest city has 1.8 million inhabitants, and every year around 80,000 people make this northern German city their new home.
Sports facilities
Studying at HSBA is more than just the daily curriculum. Sports, fun and culture are an integral part of campus life at HSBA. Every student has the possibility to participate and shape the development of the university according to his interests and talents.
Coordinated by the sports committee, HSBA students always look for a challenge in sports at numerous events. With rowing and hockey, HSBA has defined two core sports, that are celebrated on an annual basis at major events such as the Hanse Boat Race or the HSBA hockey tournament.Student clubs
