History
Alexander College has a long-standing history of educational excellence which was established in 1991. The institute, which was its initial status, provided a well-grounded foundation covering core disciplines and practical vocation, enabling students to prepare for employment in the design and print industry at that time.

Research
The Alexander College Research Center is a reality since early 2015. Its objectives are:
- The promotion of research, innovation and critical study in connection with the educational mission of Alexander College, the general conditions of Cyprus and Europe,
- The dedication in the fields of economy, sustainable development, law, arts and culture, education, information technology, international and European relations and cooperation between the Cypriot communities.
- Conducting studies and research, seminars, conferences, symposiums, conferences, training, publications, partnerships and collaborations with other organizations to promote the above objectives,

Housing services
Students looking for accommodation have varying priorities; you may be on a limited budget, you may want a quiet space to study, you may want to live as close as possible to the college, especially if you don't have your own transport or you may want to share with or live close to other students so you can socialise and study together. Whatever your concern, the Student Affairs office will provide you with all the necessary contacts to help find a place that’s right for you. You can contact Student Affairs between 9:00am and 2:00pm from Monday to Friday.
Library services
The Library has more than 4.000 books with an annual increase of approximately 300 new titles and more than 10 different titles of journals. Areas that the library stock covers include Graphic Design, Interior Design, Landscape Architecture, Art, Architecture, Law, Photography, Computer Sciences and Business. All books and journals are catalogued and can be retrieved from the Library’s system.
ICT services
In Alexander College are three types of computer facilities.
- Design Studio labs contain networked personal computers, printers, and other computer equipment
- Classroom labs are configured wide display screens, computer projection systems, and a networked personal computer on every student desk.
- Internet stations are located on the ground floor in an area adjacent to the library

Student clubs
The Student Committee or Council consists of a President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer who are elected by the student body in November. Below is the list of the current Student Council members. We cannot give out student contact details without their consent but if you need to contact any member of your Student Council for the first time, you may do so by leaving your contact details with reception and we will pass on the message for a council member to contact you.
