Overview
The Land Resource Management program from University Putra Malaysia provides professional graduates with a thorough and comprehensive knowledge of plantation management from a technical and managerial point of view. The programme is structured for working students where classes are held on weekends.
Degree requirements
The degree is earned through course work (as opposed to a research thesis), where a student must register and pass courses with 40 credit hours for at least two years of study, which is 4 semesters. Students who have been admitted to the programme included senior plantation managers, researchers, lecturers, lawyers, accountants and even graduate students. This program gained attention from local and abroad countries, especially in the ASEAN region.

- Bachelor's degree in a field or fields related to CGPA at least 2.75 or equivalent; or,
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or field with a CGPA range of 2.500 to CGPA 2.749 is acceptable subject to strict internal evaluation with 3 years of work experience
- Bachelor's degree in related field or field or equivalent with CGPA 2.500, acceptable subject to strict internal evaluation with 5 years of work experience
- Candidates without qualifications in the relevant field or work experience in the relevant field must undergo the appropriate pre-requisite course (SST4304 Climate Change and Agriculture)
