Overview
Beginning with an introduction to contemporary learning approaches within primary education settings, the program will then provide you with core knowledge in the subjects you'll be teaching in the workplace.
You'll have opportunities to put your learning into practice in extended practical placements.
In the Master of Teaching Practice (Primary Education) at RMIT University you’ll gain the theoretical knowledge and practical experience to provide the most positive impact on the lives of primary school children.
RMIT provides you with 80-100 days practical placements to prepare you for a career in the classroom. Placements will help you to apply your learning in a real classroom setting as you build your confidence as a teacher.
Graduate with highly developed skills and a globally recognised qualification that is always in demand. RMIT education students have the opportunity to undertake practical placements overseas to gain a global understanding of education.
