Others work as analysts and experts in the international organizations, academic and research institutions, private sector in Lithuania and abroad. And just in case you wish to spread your knowledge and learn even more as a graduate of the Eastern and Central European studies you will have access to the third cycle (doctoral studies).

  • Bachelor degree or its equivalent;
  • English language proficiency - the level not lower than B2 (following the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) (Internationally recognized certificate or Skype interview)

  • The selection criterion is based on the weighted average of all grades recorded in the transcript of your academic report.

State Funded PlacesCitizens of countries of the European Union (EU) or European Economic Area (EEA), persons (non-EU/EEA) granted a right of permanent residence in the Republic of Lithuania, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren of the Diaspora and people of Lithuanian origin can apply for the State Funded Place in the programme.For more information, please contact ask@vu.lt 

Tuition Fee Waiver

Tuition waiver will be awarded to the most motivated and competent international non-EU/EEA student applying for Master’s degree programme of Eastern European and Russian studies. This scholarship only covers the full cost of the tuition fee.
