Overview
Throughout this Master in International Management / CEMS from WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business) you will study with peers from over 20 countries, spend a semester abroad, learn from experts working for multinational enterprises, and benefit from the global CEMS network.
Key Facts
The Master’s Program in International Management/CEMS is an exclusive international joint degree program offered by WU in cooperation with the CEMS Alliance. It is divided into a “WU year” and a “CEMS year.” You can decide which year you want to do first.
In the CEMS year, you get to spend one semester at WU and the other one at one of our many partner universities around the globe. You will complete several core and elective courses as well as skill seminars and work on an international business project.
In your WU year, you study together with peers from around 20 countries, and you can choose from an exclusive range of WU electives. You also write your master's thesis and gain practical experience in Skill Seminars, held in close cooperation with our Corporate Partners

General requirements
- If you are interested in International Management / CEMS Program at Vienna University of Economics and Business, please familiarize yourself with all relevant information about application process, prerequisites and deadlines. You may use the application guide to ensure that your application process runs smoothly.
- Those applicants who fulfill the minimum requirements and prove a convincing achievement potential will be invited for an admission interview. Admission interviews take place online via MS Teams. The interviews are conducted in small groups and students will have to discuss a general business case (one hour of case preparation time will be given right before the interview). Candidates will also be asked about their motivation for the program and about their personal aspirations. The first round of interviews takes place in the end of November and the second round in mid-March.
