Overview
The Interior Architecture and Design MA at the University of Lincoln is a specialist programme designed for graduates of art, architecture, and design who wish to explore creative and critical approaches to interior spaces. This course focuses on the transformation of existing buildings, emphasising adaptive-reuse and progressive design outputs rather than new builds. Students operate within a simulated consultancy environment, acting as design associates to develop professional standards and advanced technical knowledge.
The curriculum is delivered through a project-based strategy where the design studio serves as the primary vehicle for learning. Students can choose between two distinct pathways: Treatise by Practice or Treatise by Research.
