Overview
The Biosphere Sustainability Science program of Hokkaido University have expanded life science centered programs two-fold to include field research activities and environmental disciplines, making this course one of the most exciting programs of its kind in Japan.

Graduates of the program will have the good judgement needed to respond to the various issues facing all of humankind today, including stable food supplies, food safety, the preservation of the global environment, and biomass uses. General requirements
- Examination Fee: 30,000 yen
- Admission Fee: 282,000 yen
- Applicants must hold (or are expected to receive) a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and have completed at least 16 years of education.
- Applicants are required to have obtained a GPA requirement of 2.30 (3.00 as full score) during the applicant’s most recently graduated/ expected to graduate program.
- Those who are certified as both physically and mentally healthy by a qualified and recognized physician.
- Applicants must be fluent in English.
