Overview

The Materials Science Master Program from Zewail City of Science and Technology offers solid introductory courses, as well as fairly advanced ones, to help students to grasp the underlying physical and chemical aspects of functional materials, and to highlight the up-to-date methods of their fabrication, characterization, and testing. The program includes a total of 40 credits towards the M.Sc. degree in Material Science.

General requirements

To be granted admission to the UST Master of Science (MSc) in Engineering graduate program, an applicant should satisfactorily meet all of the following criteria as minimum requirements for admission:

The student must successfully complete 12 Credit Hours of 500-level courses included in the Basic Diploma for the chosen discipline with a GPA of 3.00.

The student should coordinate with the main supervisor to select the specific specialization and the courses to be taken to satisfy the requirements of the Advanced Diploma, completing 12 Credit Hours of 600-level courses for the chosen discipline.

Demonstrate proficiency in English as described under English Language Proficiency below.
