Overview

You will be able to challenge the status quo in the planning, design and delivery of coaching intervention. Transform from a consumer of sports science and coaching to an autonomous, evidence-based practitioner, capable of working in high-performance environments.

You will study the relationship between neuromuscular development, performance needs, and physical development theory and practice. This will enable you to become an integral part of the multi-disciplinary teams responsible for supporting athletes.  Drawing upon well-established and contemporary psychological and sociological concepts, you will learn from in-depth insights into evidence-based coaching practice.

There will be opportunities to gain experience working with the external partners and become immersed in the distinctive world of sports coaching.  You can also gain extra qualifications through our continuing professional development courses to enhance your employability.
