Overview

Following the successful completion of the MArch, Architecture Post Part 2 Professional Experience students at University of Brighton normally continue to develop professional experience in architectural practice or an associated discipline. As part of the course, the university will sign off your PEDRs and provide advice and support to you when you're in practice.

Careers

The Architecture Post Part 2 Professional Experience course prepares you for the Architecture RIBA Part 3, which represents the last part of the formal education of an architect in the UK.

Programme Structure

Courses include:

The course comprises two seminar sessions at the university. The first session is held in the autumn and introduces you to the requirements of the RIBA Part 3, advising you how to maximise your exposure to the Part 3 curriculum on a day-to-day basis in practice before the point of formal registration.
The second session, held in the summer, is run in parallel with a RIBA Part 3 teaching session and allows you to participate in advanced role-play sessions – a form of teaching that defines the character of professional education at Brighton.
