Overview

The Environmental Engineering programme at Carleton University provides advanced technical training designed to address the most pressing ecological challenges of the modern world. Students engage with innovative research and practical applications to develop systems that ensure clean water, air, and energy for society. This curriculum is specifically engineered to reduce human impact on the natural environment through sustainable practices.

This degree is delivered through the Ottawa-Carleton Institute for Environmental Engineering, a unique partnership that allows students to access resources and academic expertise at both Carleton and the University of Ottawa. This collaborative environment provides a broader range of perspectives and research opportunities than a single institution could offer alone.
