You will learn to use research and data in evidence-informed decision-making; plan, coordinate and evaluate health-promoting initiatives; and collaborate in multidisciplinary and international settings.

Career:

Upon graduation from Health Care - Planetary Wellbeing and Resilience from Turku University of Applied Sciences (Turku UAS) , you will be prepared for demanding expert, development, coordination and project management roles in health promotion, planetary wellbeing and resilience.

You may work in public, private or third-sector organisations in Finland or internationally, using research and data to support decision-making, develop services and practices, coordinate collaboration and lead development initiatives.

The Master’s thesis enables you to address a working-life development need and strengthen your professional networks and career opportunities.

Advanced professional studies: 45 ECTS credits

Elective studies: 15 ECTS credits

Master’s thesis studies: 30 ECTS credits

Prior education: You can apply if you have a suitable Bachelor’s degree or another higher education degree. Degree requirements are programme-specific.
Work experience: Entry requirement to the Master’s degree programme is a minimum of two years’ relevant work experience gained after a suitable higher education degree completed in Finland or abroad or a Finnish post-secondary or higher vocational level diploma.
