Overview

Spiritual Companionship from University of Malta intends to respond to the need of ongoing formation of school religious counsellors. The content and structure of this programme of studies satisfy the requirements established by Modes of Regulation on Catholic Religious Instruction and Education in State Schools (16 November 1989).

Career:

The range of career opportunities is wide and varied. You will be geared to engage as mentors and pastoral professionals in schools, parishes and ecclesial groups. You will also be encouraged and prepared to pursue your studies in other academic entities and to publish in academic journals of spirituality and theology as well as contributing to local international fora in Spiritual theology and Companionship.

Applicants must be in possession of:

a Bachelor degree in Theology, Religious Studies or related areas of study, obtained with at least Second Class Honours or with at least Category II or at least Cum Laude or

a Bachelor degree in any area of study together with experience related to Spiritual Companionship.
