Overview

Medical Imaging - Ultrasound - Obstetrics and Gynaecology from University of Malta  aims to equip you with advanced academic and clinical training in ultrasound imaging, with a focus on obstetrics and gynaecology. Spread over six semesters, you will develop in-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and the scientific principles underpinning ultrasound technology and its role and safe use in obstetric and gynaecological imaging. The course consists of hands-on clinical practice, critical thinking, and research, which will enable you as a graduate to perform, report and interpret diagnostic ultrasound scans confidently.

Career:

As a holder of this degree, you will be able to pursue a specialised medical imaging career in gynaecological and obstetric ultrasound imaging, in both the public and private health sectors that are present locally or internationally. You may choose to further your studies if you would like to further your education or pursue an academic career.
