Overview

The Law course from Ulster University allows successful graduates to apply to the Institute of Professional Legal Studies (IPLS) and progress towards qualification as a barrister or solicitor.

Delivered over one intensive year (two semesters), the PGDL provides a strong academic foundation in core areas of law while developing the practical, analytical and research skills valued by top legal employers. From the outset, you’ll engage with essential legal principles and advance to more complex legal concepts through a dynamic, career focused curriculum.

The programme forms an integral part of the Law School at Ulster University. Graduates from the School with a qualifying law degree go into practice in Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, England Wales and further afield.
