Key facts

Our LLM Law Conversion and SQE 1 Preparation Course is designed for non-law graduates and incorporates a Postgraduate Diploma in Law (PGDL) with SQE 1 preparation, giving you the essential legal foundation, knowledge, skills and confidence to succeed in the SQE 1 assessment, while also gaining an internationally recognised Master’s degree.
The course develops key knowledge and skills for legal practice, with content and assessments closely aligned to the SRA’s SQE assessment specification. You will have access to extensive learning resources, including online manuals, hundreds of SQE-style multiple-choice questions, structured revision materials and regular mock assessments to support focused revision and exam technique.
You will learn to think and act like a solicitor through CV-enhancing activities such as negotiation workshops, complemented by networking opportunities and guest lectures, helping you build confidence for legal practice. The Law Conversion and SQE 1 programme is offered at Nottingham Trent University.
