Combining in-depth theoretical study with hands-on clinical experience, including an immersive clinical placement experience, the course will equip you with the competence to conduct and interpret exercise tests, understand disease mechanisms, and design safe, evidence-based exercise programmes tailored to individual needs. You will also strengthen your communication, empathy, and reflective practice skills, ensuring you can deliver holistic, patient-centred care within multi-disciplinary healthcare teams.
By integrating exercise physiology, pathophysiology, and behaviour change theories, this MSc prepares you to make informed clinical decisions and contribute to sustainable, evidence-based health practices, supporting national and global health priorities, including the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
