Overview

The One Health from University College Dublin will offer graduates an opportunity to develop an advanced understanding of One Health theory, systems thinking, global health challenges and the policy and governance structures that influence them, while developing strong competencies in communication, cultural awareness, reflective practice, collaboration and working with uncertainty, enabling graduates to work effectively across diverse sectors, disciplines and communities.

Key facts:

All students will complete a dissertation which can be undertaken either in Ireland (wet lab and dry lab options) or combined with a One Health Field Training trip at the RUMC campus in Malaysia (this option incurs an additional fee). This course is suitable for people with a minimum Level 8 degree (or equivalent) who may be starting or already working across a wide range of disciplines including health, veterinary, environment, agriculture, food systems, policy, economics, law, data and related fields.

Applicants whose first language is not English must also demonstrate English language proficiency of IELTS Scores: Not less than 6.5 overall, with not less than 6.5 in writing and not less than 6 in each other component.
You may be eligible for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), as UCD recognises formal, informal, and/or experiential learning.
