Overview
You will gain practical experience with specialised equipment used to record and stimulate neural activity, including configuring and troubleshooting systems in clinical settings. A central component of the programme is intra-operative neuromonitoring, where you will learn to support surgical teams by monitoring neural function during operations and providing real-time feedback. Clinical Electrophysiology (Neurophysiology) from University of Malta also develops your ability to analyse physiological data using advanced signal processing techniques, including artefact detection and removal.
Career:
As a graduate holding a Master of Science in Clinical Electrophysiology (Neurophysiology), you will be well prepared for a career in clinical neurophysiology and intra-operative neuromonitoring, both locally and internationally (provided that the necessary professional requirements are met). Your training will equip you to play a critical role in patient care through the acquisition and analysis of electrophysiological data.
