Overview
Real Estate Management (Property Investment and Risk Management) from University of Malta aims to introduce you to a range of concepts and techniques in valuing buildings, recognising which development reduces energy consumption and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in the real estate sector; implementing strategies to effectively address physical and transitional risks that could affect investment returns and decision-making. A properly executed valuation will allow the you to understand the value of their immovable property whilst mitigating long-term risks if allowed to incorporate environmental strategies. You will appraise buildings according to international standards and local codes, whilst being able to define and apply an understanding of laws on property, civil code and all other matters related.

- Characterise the importance of valuations and the impact of valuations on the country's economy.
- Appraise buildings according to international standards or/and local codes
- Define and apply an understanding of laws on property, civil code, EU law, ownership and possession, legal interests and all others matters law related.

- A bachelor degree obtained with at least Second Class (Honours) or Category II and classified at Level 6 of the Malta Qualifications Framework (MQF) in a discipline related to the financial or business sector. Applicants in possession of the degree with Third Class Honours or Category III may also be considered, if they satisfy the Board that they are in possession of other qualifications, including relevant experience, obtained following their first cycle degree or
- A qualification deemed by Senate, on the recommendation of the Board, to be comparable to the qualification listed in (a) above.
