With a strong emphasis on classroom discussion and diverse theoretical perspectives, this Politics (Research) programme offered by The University of Manchester equips you to analyse politics in its many forms.

Through your core course units, you will learn the latest perspectives in political theory, analysis, and research methodologies.

Once enrolled on the MA Politics, you can tailor your studies by selecting a specially designed Stream to enhance your learning experience. Streams collate highly specialised sets of course units, which aim to develop your skills in your chosen area of expertise. The five specialised Streams are: Environmental Politics, Political Theory, European Politics and Policy, Comparative Politics and Politics Research Methods.
