General requirements

There are two modes of admission to MTech (AI), either through GATE or through CFTI.
GATE mode of entry: Eligible GATE papers – CS, DA, EC, EE. Eligible qualifying degrees: BE/BTech or equivalent, MSc (2-year and integrated), 4-year BS or BS (Research) or equivalent, MMath and MStat.
CFTI mode of entry: BE/BTech/4-years BS or BS (Research) or equivalent, in any branch of science/engineering from a CFTI with a CGPA of 8.0 or above.
In both modes of entry, shortlisted candidates will need to appear for an in-person written test.
