Overview

You will learn how to use scientific and technological instrumentation for the synthesis and characterisation of materials for specific applications thanks to the laboratory activities foreseen in different courses and the Thesis activity. This may focus on both fundamental and applied topics related to research activities in Genoa, eventually in collaboration with local companies, or present in the consortium centres for the international curriculum. Advanced Materials Science and Technology is offered at University of Genoa.

Professional outlets

The course trains graduates who are specialists in research and/or technology and who are able to take up positions of responsibility and/or research in the areas of quality control and quality assurance, design and production of materials and modelling of their properties. Graduates can also be able to continue their studies with a PhD in Materials Science or related disciplines.
