Applied Geology and Geological Engineering, Exploration and Environmental Geology is 2-year graduate study programme in mineral exploration TIMREX – T-Shaped Master Programme for Innovative Mineral Resource Exploration is labelled and funded by EIT Raw Materials.

Key facts

The double-degree study programme includes 120 ECTS. The first year students will enroll Applied Geology and Geological Engineering programm, Exploration and Environmental Geology Module, while in the second year, students have a mandatory one year mobility. Students can chose to go to one of the three offered universities: University of Miskolc, Wroclaw University of Science and Technology or Luleå University of Technology. The aim of this study programme is to prepare students for contemporary challenges in the mineral exploration sector.

Original Transcript of grades for all years of the previous level of education (Bachelor’s/integrated study), along with official translationsinto English or Croatian (if issued in a different language to these),Students must have an adequate knowledge of written and spokenEnglish, equivalent to at least B2 according to the Common EuropeanFramework of Reference for languages (CEFR): TOEFL test (paper 570,cb 230, iBT 88), IELTS 6.5 or CAE (grade C1), TOEIC 792, which shouldbe certified to obtain the degrees.

Applicants fulfilling all previous criteria will be invited to an admission interview.
