Archival Science and AI from  Università degli Studi della Tuscia was designed to address the growing demand for specialized training that is not yet fully met by the current regional and national educational offerings.

With its interdisciplinary and international focus, the program aims to provide an innovative pathway for the advanced management of documentary, archival, and manuscript sources, alongside their communication through emerging technologies and AI.

The Master’s Degree Program aims to train graduates who possess:

• Advanced theoretical, methodological, and practical skills in the fields of archival science, bibliography, and library science, in dialogue with communication disciplines;

• Mastery in the use of new technologies applied to documentation, with a particular focus on Artificial Intelligence. In particular, Master’s graduates in programs within this degree class should be able to perform high-level responsibilities in both analog and digital environments, and specifically should be able to:

• Organize and manage archival-library collections in any format and on any medium, with particular focus on identification, analysis, selection, description, arrangement, and preservation activities;
