The two-year Master’s programme Future Analytics: AI & Audio Worlds comprises four semesters and 120 ECTS credits. It is structured around a Specialisation Area, a Complementary Area, and a Transdisciplinary Area (Core).
In the first semester, you build foundations in your Specialisation and Complementary Areas while exploring future-oriented topics, interdisciplinary methods, and labs in the Core. The second semester deepens theoretical and methodological knowledge and marks the start of a two-semester student research project.
In the third semester, you focus on analysis, creation, and specialised communication while continuing your research project and organising the student Future Topics Conference.
The fourth semester is dedicated to the Master’s thesis and colloquium (30 ECTS), enabling you to complete an independent research project that combines expertise from your chosen fields.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Sound Studies, Music, Musicology, Cultural Studies, Anthropology (with a focus on music/audio), (Music) Sociology, or related fields (see also the “Application and Admission” section)
