The development characteristics of Energy and Sustainability Technology can be summarized as five key research areas: power engineering, power electronics, circular economy, energy technology, and net-zero carbon emissions. High-level R&D talents needed to respond to global energy and sustainable industry development trends, new technologies and forward-looking construction.

The National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (Taiwan Tech) institute has established industry-university cooperation with a number of domestic benchmark companies, focusing on the field of industrial R&D implementation environments, training on-site implementation and core functions in key areas, and strengthening integration with the current industry status and market talent needs.
