The program includes practical expertise part of Engineering in academia for transforming Production, Product Quality and sustainability with the integration of digital enhancement and industrial robotics in the Enterprise systems. Students are exposed to fabrication, technology selection and operation of Basic Metal, Engineering and Process industry systems, in Casting, traditional and modern Machining operation output and Production equipment and Enterprise systems; Modular design and Fabrication of industrial processes equipment; design and performance analysis composite material; more over digital manufacturing, smart manufacturing system and advanced manufacturing with appropriate tools. It is expected to play a great role in the basic metal engineering on design and fabrication of Tools and Dies, in engineering and process industries on developing & manufacturing of optimized equipment and interfacing of industrial robotics for sustainable product repeatability.

Manufacturing engineers play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the production process, automation of production system including CNC system, while also driving continuous improvement and innovation to enhance the company's competitiveness and profitability of manufacturing industries. The Graduate are expected to be enterprise leader of local Manufacturing and Process industries and Entrepreneur who enables to interface with the rapid growth of the knowledge to get along with the furious competitive global market of the sectoral landscape.

General requirements

The admission requirements include the following points: The candidates for Manufacturing Engineering program must have BSc./B.Tech. Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing Technology/ Engineering and meet other requirements set by the School of Graduate Studies.
Applicants should be able to take the Graduate Admission Test (GAT) of the AAU and get a passing mark. Alternatively, standardized tests such as IELTS, TOEFL, ACT, SAT, or LSAT and with the corresponding passing marks are acceptable.
Submit a letter of intent for joining the Master’s or the PhD program.
Applicants will submit two (2) letters of recommendation from former university instructors or professors.

Produce, as may be required, certificate of work experience related to the desired field of study.
