Description

Due to heightened awareness and intolerance of fraudulent activities, demand for experts in financial criminology is rapidly increasing. The Financial Criminology (Research) program from MARA Technological University will help students understand the need for a holistic approach when applying the investigatory models. It will also guide students to appreciate and understand the wide variety of financial crimes and the development of the related regulatory framework and crime control statutes. Ultimately, the research program will prepare students to become competent practitioners or researchers with a firm grounding in Financial Criminology, fostering research and the development of new knowledge in specific areas.

A Bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 or equivalent, as accepted by the HEP Senate; or

A Bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 and not meeting CGPA of 2.75, can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment

A Bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and not meeting CGPA of 2.50, can be accepted subject to a minimum of 5 years of working experience in the relevant field and rigorous internal assessment.
Candidate Selection

Candidates without a qualification in the related fields or relevant working experience must undergo appropriate prerequisite courses determined by the HEP and meet the minimum CGPA
Candidates must pass the interview.
