Description
The Rehabilitation Medicine Program at MARA Technological University is conducted at UiTM and Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) facilities, offering extensive clinical exposure and hands-on learning.
The program is structured into two stages. Stage 1 (First Year - 12 months) covers foundational training and concludes with the Part I Examination. Candidates must pass this exam to progress to Stage 2. Stage 2 (Second to Fourth Year - 36 months) focuses on advanced clinical training and specialization, culminating in the Final Examination. Successful completion of Part II is required to qualify as a Rehabilitation Medicine specialist.

Other requirements
General requirements
- Has a recognised medical degree.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience after housemanship/ internship at the time of entry into the programme.
- Has sat for the Medical Specialist Pre-entrance Examination (MedEx) for Rehabilitation Medicine and holds it validity during the application.
- Passed the entrance examination and interview organised by the Conjoint Board Committee of Rehabilitation Medicine of the Malaysian National Universities.
- Meet the additional requirement set the the Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM).
- Proof of financial guarantee or scholarship.
- Has a valid medical practicing certificate from the regulatory authority of the current country of practice
- Temporary Practicing Certificate issued by the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC)
- Has a valid English competency certificate either IELTS (minimum Band 6.0) or TOEFL (minimum score of 550)
