Overview
Description
The Public Health program from MARA Technological University is offered over three (3) semesters with a single intake in September each year. For semesters 1 and 2, there are four compulsory and one elective module. In semester 3, a student has to prepare a dissertation based on research interests in the relevant field. The programme is suitable for those with medical or law degrees and other health professionals, especially those working in the enforcement division in the health sector, legal units involving medical litigation and research units where ethical issues are prominent.

Other requirements
General requirements
- Recognized MBBS, MD, or equivalent degree approved by UiTM Senate.
- Minimum 1 year of post-housemanship experience in hospitals or health institutions; preference for Public Health experience.
- English proficiency: TOEFL 550 (paper), 213 (computer), IBT 79–80, or IELTS Band 6.
- Other equivalent qualifications/experience approved by the Senate.
- Valid medical insurance covering healthcare costs during studies in Malaysia.
- Proof of financial capability (financial guarantee/sponsorship letter or recent bank statement).
- Pass the university medical examination.
- Valid international passport with at least 2 years remaining validity and compliance with immigration requirements.
- Fulfil all university requirements and regulations.
