Description

This Tourism Management (Research) programme from MARA Technological University gives special importance to student-centered learning in developing the required competencies in the area of tourism and its related events. This programme provides a platform for students to further enhance their learning in acquiring special areas of interest within the tourism scope. Students will be actively involved in understanding the current issues and problems associated with the growth of the tourism industry, and the outcome of the study will evidently contribute to the understanding of the current tourism scenario at large.

A Bachelor’s degree in the fields or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 or equivalent, as accepted by the UiTM Senate; OR

A Bachelor’s degree in the fields or related fields or equivalent not meeting a CGPA of 2.75 but above CGPA of 2.50, can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment; OR

A Bachelor’s degree in the fields or related fields or equivalent not meeting a CGPA of 2.50 can be accepted subject to a minimum of five (5) years working experience in a related field.
Candidates without a qualification in the related fields or working experience in the relevant field must undergo and PASS prerequisite courses determined by the faculty.
