Overview

The mission of the Medical Physics program from The University of Jordan (UJ) is to ensure the safe use of ionizing and non-ionizing radiation in medical applications to provide exceptional medical care in line with radiation protection requirements. The program seeks to achieve this by supporting the field of medical physics through continuing education, specialized training, promoting scientific research, and offering appropriate consultation services.

Program Objectives:

To offer outstanding education and training in the field of medical physics.
To support students' personal development by nurturing and utilizing their creative skills.
To develop students' competencies in medical physics and prepare them for the labor market or further graduate studies in this field.
To meet national market needs by qualifying highly competent medical physicists.

First Priority: Bachelor's degree in Physics, Applied Physics, Medical Physics, Radiation Physics, Nuclear Engineering, or Biomedical Medical Physics.
Second Priority: Bachelor's degree in Medical Radiologic Imaging Technologies or an equivalent field.
